Happy Easter
I hope you had a blessed Easter weekend.
Mine was lovely.
My sister and I began a tradition last year to host Good Friday dinner before church, and we continued it this year. We’ve decided to make it our own special tradition every year and I absolutely love it!
We’ve come to an age where it’s our generation’s turn to pick up the torch on holiday planning. It feels a bit weird that my mom, aunts, and uncles are taking a back seat to holiday hosting. Honestly it makes me feel a bit old. 🙂 Especially since my youngest cousin hosted Easter dinner. I swear she was just a little girl not that long ago. But now she’s got two kids and is hosting everyone at her place for Easter. I suppose I am getting old.
But it was a great weekend, and a special time to remember that Jesus sacrificed himself for me so that I could have eternal life. He did it for you too.
We didn’t deserve it, but that proves how much God loves us. Let’s remember this love and show others so that they might come to know Jesus too.
